US First lady Melania Trump wore a white Dior Haute Couture gown to the state banquet at Buckingham Palace on Monday evening.
According to Stephanie Grisham, FLOTUS’s Director of Communications, the custom dress is made from ivory silk crepe and features silk tulle detailing. The sheer material on her shoulders gave off the illusion of showing off some skin. She accessorized with white evening gloves and had her hair styled in an updo.
For afternoon tea with the Queen, the first lady chose a white and navy long-sleeved dress by Dolce and Gabbana, topped off with a bespoke hat by Hervé Pierre.
