Emily Blunt Vogue Cover: The Actress and Lin-Manuel Miranda Talk Mary Poppins Returns - Vogue

English actress Emily Blunt covers the December issue of VOGUE magazine dressed as the character in her new film, Mary Poppins.

Having undertaken the famous Mary Poppins role in Disney’s reboot of the classic film, she not only pays homage to her well-loved character in the pages of the world-famous fashion magazine, but also tells the magazines of her character.

She’s a superhero,” she adds “You could say she’s some sort of angel. she recognizes what people need, and she gives it to them, yet they discover something about themselves in the process.”

Photographed by the celebrated Annie Leibovitz, Blunt is perfectly captured as Mary Poppins floating in the sky holding on to her umbrella. Of course, she does this in the most high-fashion way possible wearing a head-to-toe red ensemble all by Dior (It is VOGUE after all).
