American rapper Rick Ross To Perform in Nairobi


American rapper, Rick Ross is set perform in Nairobi sometime this year, thanks to NRG Radio.

Making the announcement via Twitter, the recently launched radio station wave will be hitting the ground running with a concert set for April. NRG radio is the sister company to the events outfit MO Sound and they recently launched their broadcast in February.

The station has poached some of the biggest names in the media and music industry like Mwalimu Rachel and Timmy T Dat.

Come the 28th of April, Carnivore grounds will be lit up as the Belair Black Bottle King and CEO of the Maybach Music will be performing for the first time in Kenya.

Details about the ticketing and other supporting acts are not yet clear and should be out in due course.

The rapper who’s collaborated with Tanzania’s Belair ambassador Diamond Platnumz for the jam Waka on Wasafi Records label, has had issues with his health and just two weeks ago he was hospitalized for a heart attack.

He was plugged into a machine that took over his heart and lung conditions but he was fine after a few days.
